Ed Gallo’s story is one of adventure, adaptability, and ambition. Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Ed graduated from Fordham University with a B.A. in Communications. After an early stint in banking, he realized that crunching numbers wasn’t his calling. Instead, he packed his bags and set out to explore the world. His journey began with Club Med, where he worked at stunning Caribbean and Mexican destinations, followed by a hotel management program at a resort in Guam. With travels across the South Pacific under his belt, Ed returned home ready for his next chapter. Through a serendipitous introduction, Ed met Bill Warner, who owned a Smith+Nephew distributorship specializing in Orthopedics and ENT.
In May 1997, Ed launched his career in medical sales as a sales representative for the ENT division in New Jersey. Over the years, his drive and expertise propelled him through various roles. He joined ArthroCare briefly before returning to Smith+Nephew ENT in 2001 to take on the distributorship under the name Mund, Inc. As the company transitioned to Gyrus ENT following its acquisition by Gyrus ACMI, Ed’s reputation as a skilled and dedicated professional continued to grow.
In 2007, Ed joined Grace Medical, expanding his reach to both New York and New Jersey. Now, as the owner of Mund, Inc., Ed’s sales agency proudly represents BioMed and covers New York City and the surrounding areas. With decades of experience, dynamic leadership, and a passion for delivering exceptional results, Ed is a trusted partner to his clients, delivering innovative solutions in the ENT field.
