In 2019, he furthered his expertise with a sub specialization in Rhinology at the Academic Hospital Amsterdam. In 2023, he successfully defended his thesis titled Non-invasive Diagnostic of Head and Neck Cancer: Feasibility of a Portable Electronic Nose.
