Tonny Voermans is a dynamic leader, recognized for his remarkable contributions in the biomedical field and his innovative approach to business. As the Founder and Managing Director of Noviotissue since 2017, he has pioneered the development of tissue-engineered constructs that promote self-healing in patients. Under his leadership, Noviotissue has expanded its impact across global markets, including the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, where Tonny’s expertise in contract development, process management, and market consultancy has positioned the company at the forefront of the industry. In addition to his role at Noviotissue, Tonny has served as President of BioMed ENT since 2018, leading the company’s efforts in advancing otolaryngology solutions, particularly in the realm of ear and nose surgeries.
His focus on strategic partnerships, innovation, and customized healing solutions has fostered growth and transformation in the field, aligning scientific advancements with patient-centered care. Tonny’s academic background, with two master’s degrees in Organizational Psychology and Business Administration from Radboud University, complements his professional achievements. He brings strong leadership and strategic insight, honed during his tenure as Chairman of multiple student organizations, including the Student Association of Organizational Psychology and the Handball Club. Fluent in Dutch, English, French, and German, Tonny has cultivated a global network and is highly regarded for his responsiveness, professionalism, and strategic thinking. Outside of work, Tonny is dedicated to his family, balancing a demanding career with his role as a husband to Vivian and father to three children. He also maintains a personal commitment to health and sustainability through cycling, embracing the Dutch culture of cycling as a part of daily life.
